How much does shipping cost?
We have a flat-rate shipping schedule based on the dollar amount of your purchase for all purchases being shipped in the U.S.: $6 shipping for a purchase between $1 - $99; $8 shipping for a purchase between $100 - $150; $9 shipping for a purchase between $151 - $200; $10 shipping for purchases of $201 and over.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We ship world wide using the United States Postal Service Global Priority Mail or Airmail Parcel Post. Whether the package is shipped via Global Priority or Airmail Parcel Post depends on the weight of the package. Packages less than 4 pounds can be sent by Global Priority which usually delivers packages between 4 -6 days. If the package is 4 pounds or over is shipped by Airmail Parcel Post and usually arrives in 5 -10 days. Actual shipping rates depend on the destination. Do you do special orders?
Yes, if we do not have what you want in our inventory, we can special order any type or color of yarn from Mountain Colors Yarns, Lorna’s Laces, Trendsetter, Crystal Palace Yarns, or Berroco. Special orders from Mt. Colors and Lorna’s Laces can take anywhere from 6 – 12 weeks to receive.

How many skeins of yarn does it take to make a pair of socks?
With Mountain Colors Bearfoot or Weaver’s Wool, only one skein of yarn is needed to knit an adult medium-sized pair of socks. With Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock or Shepherd Sport, two skeins of yarn are needed to knit an adult medium-sized pair of socks.

Is there any sales tax on items I order?
There is no sales tax on your order unless you are a resident of Wisconsin. Wisconsin residents pay 5% sales tax.
